This Resin & Oil finish is designed for use on softwood floors, furniture and other interior architectural woodwork. It penetrates into the wood like a Danish Oil, its resin content hardens the surface from the inside, making it water-repellent and easy to clean. Use on interior wood, cork, porous stone, brick and terracotta surfaces.
WHERE TO USE IT
mainly indoors, but may also be used outdoors where UV-protection is not required . This wood is protected against water damage but will turn gray over time from the sun’s UV radiation.
CAUTION
Oil-soaked rags are prone to spontaneous combustion. Always store them safely in an air-tight metal container. Keep out of reach of children.
COLOURS
honey-tone clear, tint-able with suitable stain pastes. Contact us for directions or for information on custom colours.
SHELF LIFE
2-3 years, if stored cool and dry. Reseal opened container as air-tight as possible.
COVERAGE
approx. 80- 0 sq ft./litre.
DRY TIME
8-12 hrs. first coat, 24 hrs. additional coats.
DISPOSAL
Let left-over product dry out until solvent is completely evaporated. Then discard as per local regulations.
THINNING & CLEAN UP
Ready to use product. For spraying, thin with up to 100% with #115 Mild Citrus Thinner
TECHNICAL PROPERTIES
Deep penetrating vegetable oil & tree resin blend, provides an elastic, breathable protective coating. Water-resistant and surface-hardening. Enriches natural wood grain and does not blister or peel. Food-safe. Easy to refinish by applying additional coat after a light sanding.
APPLICATION
Apply 1 – 3 coats by brush, roller or spraying. Especially the 1st coat should be applied very liberally so that the surface is completely saturated. Wipe off excess product after 15-30 minutes with a clean, lint-free cotton cloth. Improved protection for floors and furniture can be achieved by an additional treatment with #315 Liquid Beeswax Finish or #300 Carnauba Floor Wax.
